Ílhavo’s minigolf, renovated and ready for some swings

Ílhavo’s minigolf circuit, located in the city center, next to the tourist office, is part of the sports offer of this county along with other supporting infrastructures which develop throughout the year, various educational and sports projects, seeking population’s life quality.

Among the existing sports facilities, we highlight the Municipal Swimming Pool of Ílhavo (covered), the Municipal Swimming Pool of Gafanha da Nazaré (covered), the Municipal Swimming Pool of Vale de Ílhavo (discovery), sports pavilions covered, multi- sports centers, tennis court and minigolf course, now renovated.

The minigolf circuit with 18 courses of the model Challenge, was in need of a new life … and this was more an effort from the Town Hall to promote quality,that could count on a specialized team of Lusogolfe.

Broken elements were replaced on the pitch and damaged obstacles, the floor was polished and all components were painted, leaving the circuit with a shiny new look.

The circuit renovation work took place over a week and was completed on 13^th of July, allowing the community to enjoy, from that date, an improved space for sports.

The circuit is also prepared for official competitions that are expected to take place in short-term.
